London, United Kingdom
About
The Oromo Evangelical Church of London (OECL) was born in March 1995 from a small prayer and Bible study fellowship held in homes. Its first official worship service was held on 26 November 1995 under the name "Tokkummaa Kiristaanota Oromoo London" at Abbey Road Baptist Church. Since 2011, the church has been officially registered with the UK Charity Commission. What started with 33 founding members has grown to over 100 members. OECL has been a full member of UOECE from its very founding, faithfully serving the Oromo diaspora in London through worship, teaching, prayer, and community ministry.
